Oat Chicken Soup

Yields1 Serving

 1 Chicken Breast, Boneless
 2 cups Boiling Water, to cook chicken
 ½ cup Chopped Onion
 1 tsp Turmeric
 1 tsp Chicken Spices
 1 cup Water (extra), for the soup
 ½ cup Corn Seeds
 1 cup Kölln Soluble Oats
 1 tsp Salt
 1 tsp Crushed Black Pepper
 To garnish: Chopped parsley and lemon slices

Place the chicken in a saucepan over heat.

Pour in boiling water, then add the chopped onion, turmeric and chicken spices. Stir to incorporate.

Cover, simmer until chicken is tender.

Remove the chicken from the stock and let cool. When it’s cool enough to handle, crumble the meat and return to the stock pot.

Pour in extra cup of water.

Add the corn seeds, Soluble Oats, salt and black pepper and mix well with the balloon whisk until the oat has dissolved.

Cook until the soup thickens.

Ladle the soup in the serving bowl and serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and lemon slices.
